Guidelines

Guideline One

Parents/Guardians are required to notify the School of any change in address and telephone numbers.

Guideline Two

Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or meet teachers during school hours without prior permission from the responsible.

Guideline Three

If a student would be injured during class time, the school will make every effort to contact the parent first. However, in case this is not possible, the school authorities will take the necessary remedial measures.

Guideline Four

During class hours, parents are NOT permitted to meet staff without the knowledge and prior consent of the school administration.

Guideline Five

Irregular attendance unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behaviour of any kind may result in the removal of the student from the school.

Guideline Six

School property, willfully damaged or destroyed will have to be made good. In addition a heavy fine may also be imposed.

Guideline Seven

No student should ever leave the school premises before the final school bell without a gate pass or prior permission. Any default will be seriously viewed and severe disciplinary action will be taken.

NOTE:- The Principal, guided by the common code of justice and fair play, may exercise his discretionary powers for changing any of the conditions mentioned above, in exceptional cases.

Absentism:-

1. Parents are requested to see that their sons/daughters are regular and punctual in attendance at school/college.
2. In the event of absence for a day or two, they are required to write a letter to the principal on the sons/daughters return to school, explaining the reason for the absence.
3. If the duration of absence is to be more than two days, a letter should be sent at once, supported by a medical certificate in case of sickness.
4. Attending weddings and other functions, out of station during School time breaks into routine and School discipline. Parents are asked most earnestly not to take their son/daughter with them to attend these functions.
